Does anyone know how low our grades can drop without any consequence? I'm a bit concerned about my grades as of now and I don't want to lose my scholarship or have my admission revoked.

need more info

well i had a 3.15 on my transcript that went to tulane and a 2150 sat and 33 on acts and received a founders scholarship of $17000/year. i only had one C on my transcript for all of high school before now but now i fear i might get 2 Cs or maybe even lower this semester. am i going to lose my scholarship/acceptance?

If it makes you feel better, I share the same concerns. I had a 3.88 cumulative through last semester, but the senioritis is really kicking in right now. I was admitted to the honors program with a rather low SAT score (1310/2000) and I'm getting kind of nervous that Tulane will take my invitation to the honors program away from me.

I think we should be ok, though. One of the college counselors at my school has like 20-30 years of experience and has only seen two students loose their acceptance because of end of the year grades. You should be fine.

My son is a freshman at Tulane this year with the $22K scholarship. He had a 3.8 average when he applied/was offered the scholarship. His second semester grades were a whopping 2.9 and Tulane never said anything about it. Be forewarned though, the 2.7 that you must keep for the scholarship money isn't so easy because a C+ is only a 2.5, it isn't the weighting that you would expect. Someone else may want to weigh in on this?

Strongly suggest Butler, since you can always go out to find a party, but my son is in Sharp and the party never ends. It is hard to study.

Was that 2.9 weighted or unweighted. I'm also worried about tulane revoking my acceptance. What do you guys think would happen if I finished the year with two C's and rest B's?

i think as long as ur not getting all c's and no d's or f's ur fine.
