I heard Harvard looks at grades after those in the midyear report. So if my school have 5 terms, term 1 and 2 were put in the midyear report, but the school also looks at term 3. Is this true?

Harvard will look at the final year report at the end of the year to determine if they should rescind an accepted applicant.

How bad do you have to do to get rescinded?

Pretty f—ing bad. I don’t even know if C’s would do it.

^ Idk, I think if you were a straight A student and went down to ALL Cs, that would do the trick…

I would assume that a drop in over one GPA point might draw some attention.

So an A student getting all B’s would be rescinded? That sounds a bit much. I thought C’s would be where things get interesting.

No, I certainly do not suggest that, peculiar as it may seem for a 4.0 student to suddenly drop to a 3.0-level to finish his or her high school career. As I stated, such an incongruity should draw some attention and even a bit of concern. But I am not so sure that there is a specific threshold for revoking admission per se. I think an admission officer’s view on that issue would be interesting.
