Well I, who has never gotten a demerit in high school, was just suspended for 2 days today. I was such an idiot. I said a curse word just as our principal walked by our group. He called me into the office and suspended me. What does this mean to my college applications? Will any admission choice be revoked because of this? The reports aren't sent out till the end of the year, once acceptance letters have already gone out.

i seriously doubt it... i mean if you were just talking with friends, and not calling someone or using the word against someone, why would they suspend you? do you go to an uber-strict school?

I think that is beyond ridiculous. I think the college will understand if you explain why. We are humans, things like this actually happen.

Wow where do you go to school? If I said the F word in front of a teacher/administrator they would tell me to watch my language. Some kids cuss while talking to teachers at my school and get away with it. I don't condone it, but it would be ridiculous to get suspended for it. We might get after school detention at most.

i'm sorry i've just been thinking about this and it makes no sense. how the hell :) do you get suspended for a cuss word. I said the f word in front of my spanish teacher and i had to go to the front office for the rest of class. of course i didnt say it to him, i was just expressing my displeasure over an assignment.

too bizarre and frankly creepy to get suspended for a word...how puritan...what do they do if you hit someone or cheat...two days? egad

it shouldn't be a problem..

The worst I have ever heard of in my school was a detention day for every letter of the word including spaces.
