<p>I had originally planned to have a normal senior year, but as of lately, I've had this urge to get out in the world and do things that I care about - volunteer work, a project that I really care about for my possible future career, etc. I find that I can balance these goals, as well as academic work, but not classes in a classroom setting. How do you think Columbia would react if I switched from my high school to my state's virtual high school and took the second semester components of my schedule online? I'm not interested in taking a gap year.</p>
<p>well, i don’t think it would matter as much. i’m taking a vhs online class, but im still doing my regular schedule. if you can convince them, i’m pretty sure they can understand.</p>
