Yeah, it is. I mean, the one thing that really attracted me to Yale was the rescol system, but it does seem just a little too binding. The great thing about Princeton is that you have a variety of different social/residential/dining options. It seems much more flexible at P'ton than Yale, although I still do like Yale's too.

Yalies love their residential college though.
You said you would be a sorority girl though, gracilisae, I thought you'd like that kind of bonding.

Haha, that is true. taps foot and waits for answer

The thing is, when you're going through the rush system, although the sororities select you, you're also ranking your top choices and if you don't like where offers you a bid you can always turn it down. What I dislike is being randomly assigned somewhere that will play a huge role in my life for the next 4+ years, and having no say in the matter at all.

Another great thing about Princeton--being able to choose eating clubs (or going independent) at Princeton! Hooray

I'm so excited for the eating clubs! If I make it, that is... le sigh

yeah, let's not get ourselves too excited yet :/

Wow...I've changed quite a bit since October!

=)

Well, I'm not quite as Princeton-obsessed as I used to be, but a fat envelope would be more than welcome. Godspeed, everyone. ;)

I feel like kebree has this air of...britishism about her now :p

I really have changed a lot too.
And we've known each other for so many months already! Isn't that amazing?

the two UCs are my safeties

(please no comments on how stupid I am for applying at too many schools)

11 isn't that bad.

My choices are pretty much the same, although I'm not sure Princeton is #1 anymore lol...

(it isn't on mine either, but i figured since this is the princeton board... its probably third of fourth on my list)

It's quite funny looking back at one's old posts, isn't it? I find I've changed so much, as well...

You're right, Zante - time has really flown. Do you remember when it seemed March would never arrive?

To echo Kebree, best of luck to everyone!

Penn or Stanford

Berkeley

Carnegie Mellon or Northwestern

UCLA or UCSD

I'm going into engineering, so I didn't even take a glance at Yale or Harvard. Princeton, Penn, and Stanford are the only schools that I would want to go to. Berkeley was my top choice a year ago, but its gone down a lot on my list. And the other schools...well, those were mainly to round out my list to make sure that I get in somewhere besides ASU.

And yes, zante, kat2 HAS seemed a bit more British lately, like she's been there or something. Ehh...probably my imagination ;)

Oh yes it is. You've already been accepted by Princeton and I havent, nor is it very likely that I will be :(
