<p>My GC is very hands-off the whole process. He just asks that you tell him where you're applying well before deadlines so his secretary can fill out the necessary paperwork. For some reason, my school is very LAC-oriented and more people know about Lafayette than, say, Northwestern, so I guess my GC is somewhat informed, but not completely.</p>
