Second Thoughts

<p>So by the end of the first semester, I was ready to leave this place. I still don't believe I belong here and I think a new environment is exactly what I need. But I've met a lot of very cool people and I've become involved in some campus activities that I really care about. Is anyone else having second thoughts about transferring? I feel like I've settled in and I know a part of me will miss this place. I also think the "unknown" is the terrifying part. I already know it's going to be hard socially and I don't know if I'm going to meet any people I can get close with. I need to scream....</p>

<p>Also, what does everyone think about the advice "You always have law school." I'm pretty sure I'm going to be going to law school after undergraduate...would it be stupid not to wait 3 more years and then go to the school I want to?</p>

<p>Tell me about it...I'm 4 days from being initiated into a fraternity, and I've applied to 2 schools for transfer...I've also signed a housing agreement for next year...this next month is going to be a tough one.</p>

<p>I may just end up staying here, because I don't want to start making friends all over again next year, but sometimes this place really blows.</p>

<p>My opinion on law school is that you'll be doing a lot of work during those years, and will be considerably more "grown up" by then, so there'll be less time for fun and more time for work.</p>
