It depends on the schools.

Many colleges and universities here will allow you to pursue a second bachelor’s degree, or will allow you to enroll in classes on a course-by-course basis so that you can take courses necessary before enrolling in a graduate program. However, you should plan on paying for everything yourself. Once you have your bachelor’s degree, you won’t be eligible for most types of financial aid.

The best suggestion is that after you move here and start working, you should take a look around at the colleges/universities that are within commuting distance, and those with reputable distance-ed programs ([UMUC - Homepage](http://www.umuc.edu) and [Penn State | Online Degrees, Online Courses, and Online Certificates offered by Penn State](http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu) come to mind). Don’t choose your location in the US strictly on the basis of where you are most likely to be able to study right away. Many of the institutions that are most favorable to second bachelor’s students, are public colleges/universities, and in most cases you will need 12 months residence in that state before you qualify for in-state tuition and fees.

For help with identifying potential institutions in the US, and with organizing all of your academic records, contact the closest advising center of [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.state.gov) The counselors there help students like you all the time. They will have ideas.

Wishing you all the best!
