<p>I submitted my common app and columbia supplement before the Jan. 1 deadline, but I forgot to ask my counselor to send transcripts and my secondary school report. She cannot do so until January 4th. Will my application be voided?</p>

<p>at any rate, that’s why columbia (and every other college) has a tracking system…so even after that’s up (which would be like after mid of january) you can still see what you’re missing and send them in</p>
<p>Pfft. Don’t worry about it. They really ough not hold you accountable for somebody else’s mistake. And besides, generally there’s such mail overload around app deadlines that they don’t get to sorting it out and registering the receipt of it and scanning it in for a good while.</p>
