Secondary School Transcripts

I currently am living in Sweden taking the IB diploma at Hvitfeldtska gymnasium here in Sweden and have a question with high school transcripts. At my old high school in Friendswood,Texas I attended Freshman and Sophomore years, and getting my old transcripts from Friendswood is painfully expensive (Since I am a two year Ex-Student) and is irrelevant with my IB course (I am taking the IB Diploma, so I do not have a GPA and class Rank).

Question- Would admissions absolutely need the old High school transcripts, or would the IB diploma ones sufficient.
(absolutely- my application will be a severe disadvantage and/or totally disqualified)

The reason I am asking this question is because of the instructions on the Harvard FAQ's that I wanted to absolutely verify:
If you have attended more than one high school in the last TWO YEARS, you should have an additional School Report from the Common Application/Universal College Application submitted by your former counselor(s). -Harvard FAQ for common app
According to this, I would not have to send the transcripts and save myself $100. Is this the case? What do you guys think? I sent three E-mails to admissions and all I got was useless bureaucratic copy and paste answers. Anyone here with experience?

No experience with this, but I’d bite the bullet and send the transcripts. Harvard will have plenty of other applicants who send them 4 years’ worth of grades. Good luck and sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
