<p>Dunno–even Claire’s prices seem to be climbing. Don’t see anything there that could be mistaken for Tiffany’s by any stretch of the imagination.</p>
<p>Well, S2 is less compliant than I would have liked. When I suggested the other day that we go to the nice drugstore to get the smaller gift, he said that he’d already picked up gum. I told him he could NOT give her gum. He went with me, but rejected the Burt’s Bees lip balm and some of the other things. He would not even consider nail polish. The store had a large selection of Crabtree and Evelyn products, and we ended up getting a small tube of hand cream in a rose scent. But now I’m worried that it’s an old-lady gift! For the larger gift, he would not take any of my (your) suggestions. He wants to get a Starbucks gift card. So that’s what she will get. Mr. Independent.</p>
