I applied to UCLA Computer Science Engineering for transfer admission for Winter 2007. I haven't received my admission letter in the mail, but I checked online where you can register for a pin and it said that I did not have a pin available when I put in my name and information. Does this mean that I got rejected? Did anyone who did get accepted have a hard time getting the pin?

They may not have made a decision yet, so you won't have a pin. Sit tight and try not to worry.

People try doing that every year.

I called them, they said they mailed out my decision already. So they have made a decision but it says I dont have a pin, so this must mean that I got rejected, right?

What difference will it make?

I did the samething that you did. I tried the website before I got the admission letter and it gave me a student ID. I got the letter about 10 days ago.

why are people finding out their uc admissions? dont they not tell you guys until march or something?

so are you suggesting that I did not get in then?

lol omg chill out, you need to be patient

but seriously why are you guys talking abotu getting in and finding out when i thought theres months left..i mean the deadline for UC applications isn't even hear yet!

This is for TRANFER WINTER 2007/SPRING 2007 ADMISSION.

The only thing you can do is to sit and wait for the snail mail to come. In any case, I'm sure you have different options if what you fear may happen does come to pass.

This happened with freshman admissions to MIT EA. The people who got in recieved mail in December, but the rejects had to wait a few more weeks to get their letters. Not saying UCLA would do this, but I would look at my other potios if i was you.

Mine did not work with the old system...did you try it with the new system? Mine worked but they told me on friday that they didnt make a decision yet and I was to recieve a phone call today...

did you turn in your SIR through the website or did you have to physically send it out? I can login but I don't see anything about an SIR.

I know, I can log in now but there is no SIR! Does anyone know anything about this?

Is anyone who got accepted into UCLA for winter having this problem? I am getting highly concerned.

Things don't seem to be looking good for us...I wish they would have told me the decision over the phone.
