Section 2 = Experimental

I'm almost positive of this.

Firstly, my Section 2 was Math.. It had 2 confusing pie charts (acres of land and gross income, or something like that). There was also a question about points A B and C in a plane.
Several people said that they did not recall either of these questions.

Secondly, for the people with the CR experimental (the diary passage), I think you all agree that this was Section 2.

For those of you who had an extra Writing section, the section with the nitrogen/plants question, do you recall if that was Section 2?
Because I most definitely did not have that.

If all of these points are correct, I think it's safe to conclude that Section 2 was experimental on all tests. (Which sucks in that it was the first real section, but is good in that I had trouble with that Math section, and it seemed like people did not like the diary passage much.)

Funny, on section 2 I had Math. However I don't recall about acres of land or gross income.

Yeah, I think my section 2 was experimental math. It had a question about 120 soap packages that weighed 660 ounces together or something.

I had the nitrogen plants and didn't have a writing experimental.

I don't think they're doing experimental by the section number like they did in April where EVERYONE's section 6 was experimental. My friend had 4 math sections, yet his only writing was section 2.

I am sooo upset - I aced the section 2 math and screwed up on another section. Oh, and I didn't have the writing section and recall the nitrogen thing.

O.o I'm pretty sure I didn't have any those math questions in Section 2. ><; Are all the SAT different in different states? o_O;

Hmm. I really don't recall the thing about nitrogen on Writing..

Yeah, I had that thing about 660 ounces or whatever. That one was annoying.

PUNKiiE:
That's weird that you don't recall the pie charts. I don't think anyone who had that can possibly forget. There were these two huge pie graphs with three questions that followed. One pie graph showed percentage of land occupied by 6 or 7 different crops, and the other showed how much income each crop made. The annoying part was when it asked which crop brought in the most $ per acre of land (I put A btw, for anyone who remembers (either corn or carrots) because it was like, 5% of the land and 11% of the income, which is more than double.)

O.O Dude, the pie charts I have were about Tuna sandwiches or rolls and something else. >>;;; WEIRD.....

Okay, then that section (was it #2 on yours?) has GOT to be experimental. Which I'm thrilled about, cause I guessed on a few.. And the Math section following it was really easy.

Oh, I loved Section 4.
I think that was the one with the right cylinder, and Barb's wonderful motorbike, and the graph where you had to find what f(7) equals.

Yeah, my section 2 was a writing section and I don't think anyone had a passage about motown singers.

I didn't get to finish that one. >/// Oh bummer. Motown Singers? Reminds me of O-Town. >/ A band ?

dammit, my section 2 was a CR and i aced it and screwed up the section 3 CR. >.<

yes, I messed on the f(7) and the child/adult ticket question. GREAT

If you're referring to that short passage about the jazz musician, everyone had that one.

For those of you without a Math experimental section:

Do you remember having questions about Barb's motorbike (answer was like, 2 - x/1.25), a right cylinder (answer was like, 16/3, or some other obscure fraction.. was letter B), and the one where it gave you two points, then you had to calculate the slope (-3/5) and use it to find f(7).. The answer was 4.

The child/adult ciket questoin was on Section 4 right? I think that was the one I was taking a long time to figure the answer out.

What was the answer to the one with the parabola? With the ray ? x.x; I couldn't figure that answer out.

The one with the parabola? Where it was like, what will the graph look like if it is changed to -f(x) ?

I put E, the graph will look the same but open downwards.

And yeah, I think the child/adult thing was Sec4.
It was 1:3

oh, did u guys have the math question which was something like how many numbers like 3, 578 between 4,000 and 5,000?
