<p>I got a 30 in English and my section scores were 17 & 14; wouldn't this add up to a 31? And in reading I got a 28 and my section scores were 13 & 16 so shouldn't that be a 29? Is this a problem with the glitch that the scores may not be accurate or is this usual?</p>
<p>I am having the same exact problem. My English subscores are 18 & 18 but it is adding up to a 35 when it should be a 36. Something is definitely wrong with using this glitch. I bet it’s accurate for the most part, but when you hack into your scores this early it makes sense that there may be some issues in the scoring</p>
<p>However, you should know that your subscores do not necessarily add up to your secton composite scores. The scaling is different depending on how harsh the curve is. A -1 in reading (like a 17 & 18) may indeed be a 34R. However, I know that my 18 & 18 in english def can’t be a 35E</p>
<p>Okay disregard what I said about “18 & 18” making a 36. I must have missed a question that did not effect my subscore but still dropped my english composite a point. The scaling is fine</p>
