<p>Do the National Merit computers include any sort of security software (anti virus, firewall, etc.) or is that something we need to acquire on our own? Any recommendations?</p>
<p>If security software isn’t already installed, UA will have it (usually Norton) available for free, which is something they do for all students.</p>
<p>The free version of AVG is what I use. I much prefer it to Norton.</p>
<p>McAfee all the way. Seriously the best sec software I’ve ever used. Norton is rather annoying and tedious to use. Plus I’ve just really liked all the McAfee people I’ve met at career fairs and conferences.</p>

<p>You can install Mcafee for free through the university, but i prefer Norton</p>
