<p>Under the Duke accepted profiles, it's possible to search for just about anyone with a profile. You can go by first name, last name, state, city, whatever. My question: If someone doesn't know/hasn't revealed whether or not they were accepted, can't a simple search reveal the truth? Also, if someone hasn't seen their admission decision, will a profile for them still be listed?</p>

<p>well, if you've been accepted, you can log in (as you would do to see your admissions decision) and there will be a link called "profiles". If you click that, you can easily search for people. They don't have stats or anything, just the person's name, state, city and a myspace style profile/pic. Still helpful to see if any of your friends got in.</p>
