<p>Will the adcom see passion in my application if only my short essay talks about it (research)? My long essay is something totally different now. But it is my main EC (appx 16 hours a week, and all the others combined come to maybe 6-10 hours a week). The essay I had before about passion for science was a little boring and kind of "force-fed" the passion to the reader, so I'm using a different one about a different EC.</p>
