Are any of the dorms open to visitors? I seems to recall word of a mock dorm setup in one of the halls, but can you get into any others while on a campus visit?

We had a neighbor who was going to show us around hers in Broward and some others, but it turns out she won't be there the Saturday we're coming.

When we visited FSU, and UCF is the same, you can check out all the dorms during your visit.

“Tour rooms are open during limited hours in the summer on Day 2 of the Preview freshmen orientation program. The Jennings Tour Room is open year around.”

Thank you, Stephen. I’ve looked at the virtual tours, but you don’t really get a feel for the building itself. We’ll check out the Jennings room on Saturday.

Only way to see the other dorms is to find someone who lives there and ask to see their room.

No, you can’t really see any of the dorms except for the “model dorm,” which is probably a really poor representation. Your best bet would be to approach someone friendly-looking who is heading into the dorms and hope that they’ll take you up to see theirs.
