Seeking a very cheap US community college

Hello,

I'm from Morocco and next month I'll get my associated degree equivalent, my country have a very poor education system, I want to continue my studies in USA, and I can pay every year from $4000 to $7000.

I just started an online project, and I'm earning now from $1500 - $2200 per month, can this help me to get a reduction of some financial aid the first year ?

I want to know some tuition cheap community colleges, and if I get my diploma from a community college, can I continue my studies in an university ?

Btw, we can't send money outside Morocco, so I can't pay application fees from my country to receive the I-20 paper, can these fees be included later with tuition fees ?
Sorry for my poor English.

Thanks in advance,
Hamza.

Hi,
Try Los Angeles harbour college. BTW how are you earning that money? Please PM me :D

Hi,

Thanks for the college
I sent you a PM.

Hi Hamza–

1–An associate degree is the same as a community college degree. Do you really want another AA?

2–Non-resident tuition at California community colleges is $173 per unit. There is an additional capital outlay fee of $30 per unit for all non-California resident students. So, if you take 15 units a semester, it will cost around $6100 a year just for fees. You will still need to factor in books and living expenses.

3–I-20 fees must be paid when you apply. I believe all the schools will want a US money order with the application. You might check with a bank.

4–You might find that financial aid for foreign students almost non-existent for foreign students.

Good luck!

Hi,

Thank you so much for this valuable information.

I want another US AA, and after transfer to an university, because in Morocco we have the worst educational system in the globe, and I think I’ll apply for Spring session for financial reasons.

There are some community colleges in the south that also have on-campus housing, if that is needed (maybe elsewhere, I only know about these from researching for someone) - and many in GA and MS have transfer agreements to 4-yr schools.
GA: North GA, Middle GA, GA Northwestern
MS: Holmes, Hinds, Meridian, MS Delta, MS Gulf coast

I’m sure there are many others - use the SuperMatch on CC to find others in your range.

Hi theshark, Perhaps you could look at some options in Canada for your price range. For example Thompson Rivers University has a tuition of $4000,and room and board of $3000.They offer bachelors degrees and diplomas.Check it out [Thompson Rivers University](http://www.tru.ca)

Hey Shark, I can not help you with a cheap college, so sorry for that, but I’d really love to hear how you’re earning so much a month, so please send me a PM about that as well :D

Thanks,
