Hey guys.
How much time did you guys study for SAT each day? How many practice tests did you work on?
I’m not sure if 2080 is considered a super high score, but it is for somebody who isn’t a gifted test taker like many people on here are. I managed to increase my score by about 300 points in any case. I probably took 7-8 of the 10 practice tests in the Blue Book, I read through several prep books (The Black Book, Erica’s guide to SAT Grammar, the Critical Reader, a prep book about the essay and PWN the SAT Math, as well as Direct Hits.) Those books were all for the old SAT however, and I wouldn’t recommend them for the new SAT. Anyways I would recommend spending at least an hour a day for at least a month before you take the SAT to prepare. While the SAT isn’t the end all of getting into an elite college, it is still damn important. So take it seriously.
