Although a beauty school, your school is exactly the type of “for profit” school that the gov. is investigating and changing rules about. Lots of students from these types of schools default on loans. I bet they convinced you to enroll during your first “admissions” visit, right? Gave you no time to change your mind, and quickly got you to sign financial documents within just a couple days of enrolling? They might as well be selling used cars, instead of the “education” for a career they promise. You might be out of luck in terms of negotiating.
