Hello,

I am confused in MS IE programs and would like to ask for your advice.

I graduated w/ an IE program in a tough engineering school.
My overall GPA is 3.19. Did badly in my sophmore yr; then gradually improved and w/ an above 3.5 in my senior yr.
GRE: Q 780 / V 400 / AW 3. (Ya, really bad in V and AW).
2 yr of sorta operation work experience.

I got accepted in USC but I am also considering Michigan b/c it has a very good program.
I notice that my scores are below Michigan's min requirement (GPA 3.20, Q+V:1200 and AW 4.5), but I talked to department staff and they say they review the whole application, so my score won't eliminate from consideration.

I also talked w/ other school rejected me, and they say low grad in my early math and stat class is not a good sign and beyond that my low score in V and AW is a main concern.

I wonder what is my chance to get into michigan if I can improve my V to 500 and AW to 4 ? Is it worth to wait and work hard to improve my GRE score or should I just go to USC.

How is USC's ISE program?
How is my job prespective if I want to find a job relating to process improvement in North Cal after the degree? Is it more helpful to have a degree from USC or michigan?
Or more general, is MS in ISE useful at all if I already have a BS in IE.

Thank you so much
