If I can get into Cornell, I intend operation research and engineering; Industrial Engineering and Operation Research for Fu; and Management Science and Engineering for Stanford <-- DREAM!!

So here is my stats:

I immigrated to US from China at the end of 9th grade, and I attend regular middle school in China, where language of instruction is only Chinese, hopefully this fact can help me a little bit to explain my bad ACT score. BTW I will take TOEFL.

Objective:
SAT I (breakdown):Never took, and won't take

ACT:Composite 32 (E30 M36 R31 S31 W8) Superscore composite 33 (E31 M36 R31 S34 W8) but only Stanford "considers" subscore

SAT II: Math II 800 Chemistry 800

Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.958

Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): No rank in our school

AP (place score in parenthesis): AP Statistics (5) AP Calculus BC (5) AP Physics B (5) AP Computer Science A (4)
Self-study: AP Psychology (5) AP Microeconomics (5) AP Macroeconomics (5) AP Chinese (5)
IB (place score in parenthesis):No IBs in our school

Senior Year Course Load:AP US Gov, AP Physics C, Multivariable, and some other regular classes (school provides too many APs, I can fill more if I want, but I decide to spend more time writing a killer essay)

Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.):National AP Scholar; FBLA NYS economics 5th place, selected for two consecutive years as All-Star math team member (consisted of top 50 in our county) to represent our county to compete ARML and NYSML, the county I think is second best after NYC in NYS; Badminton 4th double county champion; some other minor math award
Subjective:
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis):

Founded a non-profit organization which operates in China by organizing my middle school friends. I divided it into three branches: A. in-school activities: organize activities within different high schools in the city I used to live in. B. Online-store: sell some American and Korean Commodity. C. Receive donations. All of money raised is donated to poor areas in Western China. Net profit now is 2445 Yuan (about $ 400, but it was decent amount in China) and we transported 664 kg (almost 1,500 pounds) used clothes that we collected in first activity to Western China. Now our website was censored and blocked by Chinese government since Communism Party believed that our name is sensitive.

Varsity badminton (10,11,12) Varsity swimming (10)

NHS

Some other trivial activities.

Job/Work Experience: Two internships in two factories in two summers, one is in China (my dad's supplier's) and another is in US (my dad's client's). Both factories produce the same merchandises and I can get a comparison b/w the two. The disparity b/w two factories shocked me and I will wrote it in Why Major essay if applicable.

Volunteer/Community service:Several hours of peer tutoring besides my non-profit
Summer Activities:2011 went to Cornell Summer College for Business World, but only received a B+

Essays:Should be good I guess.

Teacher Recommendation: Never read, 1. AP Stat -- will be awesome I guess 2. Engineering teacher -- will be awesome I guess 3. English teacher -- will be generic. I will only send first two recommendations when applicable

Counselor Rec:will be awesome i guess
Additional Rec:none

There seems is a tie between my high school and Cornell that about 30 out of 300 kids in each grade has Cornell's acceptance.

The choices now I narrow down to: 1. ED Cornell, and make a possible quick end 2. ED Columbia Fu 3. Super-reach Stanford REA.

Each of these schools have some flaws, but overall I like Stanford best for its academics that I believe fit me most

Pros:

Cornell: has AEM as a business major, even though I don't intend to do business major, but it is an option if I found engineering is boring; Awesome on-campus food

Columbia: Millions of internship opportunities in NYC; almost no class in Friday so we can do internships; able to take some classes in grad school; encourage us to watch shows in NYC; study abroad opportunities; near my home

Stanford: Awesome weather, awesome campus, awesome academics (they provide so many classes that related to the field I am interested in) 30 min ride to San Francisco; Quarter system - I could take more classes that I love; less intensive work load; silicon valley; few core curriculum; good support/ guidance service; provide a major called product design, which seems no other school provides.

Cons:

Cornell: Cold (I'm a southerner). Middle of nowhere, not many internship opportunities around the campus

Columbia: the campus is so small, on-campus food sucks; few hands-on projects for engineering; intense core curriculum? (but I think cornell's is even more intense; I prefer to choose many classes I like by myself rather than feel constrained by the core requirements); too immersed in NYC, no natural environment; not much campus life

Stanford: Almost no cons, probably a little bit too much in engineering core, but I like it anyways and is good for me. Relatively fewer study abroad opportunities.

What do you guys think of my chance for each school? And which plan should I choose? Thanks!!!!!
