Seeking info on selectivity and impact of Presidential/Arts Scholarship at Wake Forest

My D22 is interested in Wake Forest. Haven’t been that optimistic for her because her grades dropped junior year, so her rank/GPA would be below their average, though her ACT is above their 75th percentile.

We see now though that they offer scholarships for the arts and she has been a voice student for about six years and participated in some competetions. She has a beautiful voice, but by no means a near professional one. She has an audio music supplement which includes a song in Italian that she prepared --it looks like they are looking for a longer supplement and a video one.

Any one know how competitive these scholarships are? And whether/how they might impact overall acceptance likelihood. She was planning on applying EA.

Thanks

They are very competitive: in general they are for tippy-top students academically who also have very high talent in the arts. The arts supplement could help in admissions, but as far as the merit scholarships go, it does not sound likely she is in that top tier of academic qualifications they select.
