seeking MCAT prep course advice

Has anyone taken the Examkrackers course? Any of the others? Reviews, suggestions, advice appreciated, especially if you have taken any of these in Boston, preferably recently.

Also interested in experiences with private tutors in Boston and whether they were helpful with test-taking strategies.

Thanks!

A number of us successful medical school applicants took the Kaplan prep course - I did, as did BDM, and NCG, if I remember correctly.

shades_children, I believe BRM, BDM, and you took Kaplan, while NCG took Princeton Review. (For a record, DS took Kaplan as well. mmmcdowe likely took kaplan as well.)

In the past at least, I believe Examkracker provided the courseware, rather than an actual prep course taught by a teacher.

BTW, Thanks for your help in the past several years.

I took princeton review, which I thought was pretty decent. Can’t go wrong with kaplan or princeton review. Examkrackers, I believe, doesnt go in depth as much as the other 2 (based on their books, not sure about the prep course). EK Verbal 101 is a must-buy for verbal practice though.

I also did kaplan (both a student and then a teacher)
