Looking for a LAC. No limits on geography. Should be strong on social sciences (history is a particular interest). Very important: will need some tuition help despite being an only child from a (narrowly) $100,000-plus income family.
My stats:
GPA: 3.5
Class rank: top 10 percent
SAT: 1200 (old measure)
Academic record: AP chemistry, U.S. history, European history, government. Honors math, social studies. AP credits in the history courses. Three years foreign language, four years math and science, four years English, equiv five years social studies in short, a college prep curriculum.
Activities: National Honor Society, Eagle scout, student library advisory board, numerous outdoor leadership training programs and volunteer activities, mostly through scouts. Wrestling first year.
Preferences: Not particularly religious or Greek-oriented, but get along with just about everybody (except racists and homophobes, and I can even handle them in small doses).

I do my best in settings where I have close contact with, and easy access to, my teachers, which is why I'm seeking a LAC. I have a list that's strong on public LACs and includes some honors programs at larger schools that function like LACs. But I don't want to overlook any opportunities. Would really appreciate some suggestions. If there are any LACs where geographical diversity would count for something in terms of aid, note than I am from the Southeast.
