I'm extremely regretful for what i have done to my past academic performace. In high school i had a gpa of 3.0 and graduated from University of Central Florida with a 2.0. Not because i was slow or anything it's just that i never studied. My life was miserable and i hated my finance major and so forth. The real problem began after i graduated, i didn't want to pursue my career in finance and didn't meet any qualification to pursue a master's degree in any other areas. So i guessed my only chance to improve myself was to apply for a second baccalaureate degree and change my life direction. First it seems like not many schools are willing to accept second degree applicants, if i'm not mistaken, most schools don't even have that option. And second of all, will my 2.0 gpa in college close doors for good schools? I'm looking to major in psychology and in college i took a number of psychology courses and they were pretty much the only courses i got "A"s in. Will the schools consider my performance in psychology alone?
If i want to get into UC, what are my chances? what are they really looking at? I'm thinking that a college graduate, no matter what your gpa was, would be academicaly stronger than high school graduates. would the school think the same and be less strict when deciding on second degree seekers?
Please please help! Thanks in advance.

I’m fairly certain no UC allows second degrees, they can’t accomodate all of those seeking first ones.

Your best chance will be a third tier private college if you can afford it. These schools need the money and will work with kids with less than ideal backgrounds. Unfortunately federal aid is not available for second degrees.

Your best bet may be to re-enroll at UCF in order to complete the second major. If you continue to do well in Psychology, and you want to pursue a graduate degree of some kind, the people in that department would be able to provide you with good references.
