I apologize for not responding to this is no long - I’ve gotten caught up in midterms and school work. Also, I didn’t realize how long it would take me to compile data on the colleges everyone’s suggested. Anyways, I’ve completed a spreadsheet with a list of colleges I’ve looked at/applied to with data on each one. Most of this spreadsheet is based on what are most likely very inaccurate estimations, but I think it’s a pretty good indicator of my current standing. If any of you could look over it and tell me what you think, I’d appreciate it; I tried to make it as user-friendly as possible. The red/orange rows show the schools I can not afford.
In short, my calculations have revealed that there are LITERALLY only 2 schools that I can afford to go to (Clarkson and UAH), one of which I haven’t applied to and the other I haven’t been accepted to yet (I’ll be applying to UAH now). Overall this has been an important lesson: by not considering costs until now, I’ve closed down pretty much any path I had for my future except for these 2 options. I’m not saying that these options are bad by any means, these schools are very nice, I’m just saying I wish I had gone about this process differently.
