<p>A normal envelope first? Hmmmm... in the dark ages when I was a HS senior, Y sent out a thick envelope to inform us of acceptance. I had been accepted to my 2nd choice already, U-Mich and two other engineering schools. I was only awaiting Y and another Ivy. On that Thursday, the other school's "big envelope" was sitting in my mailbox as I got home from school (my parents weren't home during the day). I joyfully opened it and confirmed that I had been admitted. I excitedly called my parents and told them. For some reason, it totally gave me confidence that Y had also accepted me. Surely enough, when I came home from school on Friday, the Yale package was waiting. Another joyful call to the parents. My #1 had accepted me!</p>
