It would be nice if one of the CC admins can maintain a list of decisions taken by colleges about fall semester? It’s a fluid and flexible situation and knowing what other families and colleges are doing, may help members of CC community with their student’s decision process to go in-person or take online option.

Kind of crazy that the Department of Education doesn’t step in and offer a guideline for this stuff…
It’ll be interesting to see which schools go completely online and which schools go for more of a hybrid approach.
Very few of Universities can afford to have their dorms empty, cafeteria closed, and sports facilities unused. That’s not even considering a drop in enrollment from fewer overseas students and fewer students willing to pay top dollar for an online education without the “college experience.”
Universities are businesses. They have employees that work all over campus outside of the classroom. They have bonds to pay for dorms they built, etc.
I predict that almost all universities will re-open because they must re-open.
