<p>Does anyone know if I show demonstrated interest in a particular major (in my case, English/Communications) will my chances be increased if I list this as a major? I know majors in the college of letters and science aren’t supposed to affect chances, but since I wrote about it in my personal statements and it can be seen in my extracurriculars, will it help?</p>
<p>DD selected a major for this reason. She was tired of "undeclared".</p>
