@apple23 My parents would not allow a gap year and I don’t know if I could handle it myself. They do not see anything wrong with Thomas, and are happy that I will be gaining my CPA requirement. I feel that would be a high possibility as well. I am not definite on law school, and would be happy with just an MBA if it grants me a successful job. My dad brought home a job posting today, financial analysis wanted, starting pay around 60K. I am OK with that. I also feel that if I work hard, study, and prepare myself for law school I will be successful if I do decide to go.
If you decide to go to Thomas you will shine there! You will have small classes, and should be able to make strong connections with your professors. I am sure you will excel. What it comes down to is this…you have to determine what will work best for you. All of us here on cc can advise you to some extent, but we don’t know all the details of your life circumstances. We can only advise based on what you have told us about your long term career goals and what is most important to you in your college experience. It sounds like you are content with the possibilities offered by Thomas.
And…if after getting your start there you decide you want a different experience, you can explore transfer options that will be within your budget.
Good luck!
@apple23 Thank you! You’ve been such a great help.
