I am an incoming freshman at UCLA. I logged onto my UCLA email address today and accessed my Financial Aid Document Tracking, and was told that I still need to submit a selective service verification and a verification of household size.

The verification of household size seems fairly easy, but the selective service part is what I don't understand.

I checked the box on the FAFSA that said to join the selective service, but when I went to the selective service's website to verify, but it said that I must be 17 to register. I am only 16, but turn 17 on May 11. I have rechecked my FAFSA, and it said that it did not send my name to the selective service, probably because I am out of the age range.

So what would I do in this case?

Thanks.
