<p>If you were to do a bit of legwork on your own, it would be pretty easy to figure out what CMU is known for. Just spend two minutes looking at their website: cmu.edu. Look at previous posts. You might also notice that a number of students are accepted into the college of fine arts…mostly based on their portfolios and talent, not their class rank.</p>

<p>I think busdriver said it very well. In fact, CFA students account for ~17% of the class so I will give them benefit of the doubt ;).</p>
