Self-Paced Online French?

<p>Hi, </p>

<p>I'm interested in learning French this summer online at my own pace. Is FLVS self-paced? It says it's 32 weeks, and I don't have that much time to take an introductory course. Is Rosetta Stone a bad bet? </p>

<p>Please let me know your experiences with learning languages online and out of school. </p>

<p>Also, I just finished AP Spanish, so I have a good understanding of learning languages and such.</p>

<p>Our public libraries offer a free online language program called Mango Languages. It includes many level of French and many other languages. You might see if your library carries it.</p>

<p>FLVS is self paced, you are able to get through the work as fast as you can.
36 Weeks is the slowest you can finish.</p>
