Self Reported Scores

I wrote my SAT score on my common app and submitted it to harvard, but i intended to not to submit my SAT score. Does this count as self reported scores? and if so can i revert this by any chance?

Email admissions and ask. I

On their FAQs they note a form on the applicant portal to go from To to test. But they don’t note the opposite.

So ask.

Btw on their school specific app on common, it should have asked if you want them considered. If you stated no, they won’t include them in the review even if on the app.

Common app is just a repository of info. But if you tell a school don’t use the test, they won’t.

Harvard says this.

Do you mean you do not want Harvard to consider your test scores? If so, you need to email the retail link rep and cc the admissions office, asking them to please not consider the test scores. This assumes you already self reported but did not check the box on the app indicating you don’t want the scores to be considered.

If you are accepted and have self reported scores in order for them to be considered as part of your app, they will require you to submit the scores officially before you matriculate.

Well basically, i chose not to consider my sat scores but my common application already had my self reported test scores.
So i assume I don’t have to send any email.

Yes - every school in their section of the app will ask if you want your test considered. If you say no, then they won’t.

If you did this by answering “I would like my application considered without SAT or ACT scores” to the required question in the General section of the Common App, your score will not be considered, even if submitted.

Fwiw, not every school asks this question. Cornell for one. If you ask, you are advised to not enter scores in the testing section when submitting. It’s a very popular r/A2C topic.
