Do you have to self-report all ACT dates/scores on college apps, particularly the common app? Or can you choose which dates to report?

I've been wondering that myself! The Common Application isn't really clear as to whether or not you have to...so maybe it varies from school to school? But, it wouldn't make much sense to have to report all your ACT scores when one of the main selling points of the ACT is that you can choose which scores to send.

Does anyone who has already applied know what the deal is?

you can report or not report, its up to you. btw: double check to see if your HS puts test scores on your transcript.

Thanks bluebayou--that's really good to here. I'll check with my counselor on Monday to see just what exactly the school sends out.

Ok, so all three of my ACT tests appear on my high school transcript, but I am only officially sending in one through the testing agency. On the pre-application for the colleges I'm applying to, I put down that I took all three dates, but didn't need to put down the scores. Should I report all three scores on the common app section? Or should I just report my best?
