Self reporting AP Scores on Common App

I recently submitted my Georgia Tech EA application thru Common App. I did not self report my AP scores on the Common App, as I was under the notion that the schools would receive an official score report ( thought I did report my SAT and SAT IIs). However, now I am being informed that official score report with your APs is only sent after you have been accepted.
Is it worrisome that I didn’t self report APs? Should I email the admissions council w my AP scores?

No. Self reporting AP scores is optional

You can if you want. If the scores were good, go ahead. It won’t hurt and may help ever so slightly.

Are you applying Early Action? GaTech is competitive and you should give them all the information you have, about your scores. If you are applying from out of state, your AP scores will matter. In state, less so as Gatech legislates the % of in state kids and if you are a valedictorian from certain Georgia high schools you will get in automatically to Gatech. Check if you are from one of those high schools, its based on the total size of the high school, and your school counselor should know. If the AP scores do not get to Gatech on time, for them to consider, you may be rejected. They will check your scores once your report rolls in from the testing service. Out of state applicants are way way up to GaTech, as its a great price relative to U Michigan and some west coast options, so do all you can to present yourself in the best light, if you want to get accepted.
