So as most of you know, you have the option to self-report all of your scores on the commonapp. My question is if it would look bad to only self-report subject tests and ap tests. For my SAT, I've taken it twice so far. The first time, I only scored 1980, but the second time I scored 2240 (and will probably score even higher in October, because my CR was only 680). Due to the fact that I'm applying to top colleges, I don't really want them to see the 1980 (except for obviously the schools that require all scores), but if I were to self-report my SAT scores on the commonapp, then all my schools would see them. So is it ok to only self-report subject tests and ap tests, or should I only do ap tests, or all three?

Just put the ones you want - including the 2240 which is very respectable

In Commonapp, you only report the highest section scores, but you need to answer the question on how many times you have taken the test. You should do that honestly. For schools that require all scores, you need to send them all anyway. For schools that accept score choice or superscore, they don’t really care about your low scores.

wow… nice … a 2240… almost an average of 740 each section… how does everyone in college confidential manage to score such outstanding scores outside the typical norm… I just don’t get it… lol… every post i go to… there is just that 1 group who has a 2200 and is asking advice for a retake…??? ??? ??? ??? what the?

^ The type of people who’d come on a forum dedicated to college admissions also tend to be the type of people who are above average in academics.
