When self reporting the grades, if it is a year long class and I only have the letter grades for each semester, what do I put as the course grade? (i.e. if one semester I got an A, but the other I got an A+)
When filling out the coursework for each grade, in which do I put summer school classes? (i.e. if i took summer chemistry in between sophomore and junior year)
Please try to enter it as close as possible to the way it shows on your transcript. If your school gives final official grades at the end of each year, then enter that grade. If your school gives final official grades by term or semester, then list each course with its final grade by term or semester. You may list the same course course twice and gives the final grade for each term if that is how it appears on your year-end final transcript.
Choose "Summer School" in the Course Length Drop down menu.
Enter the GPA for that academic year only. Not cumulative.

You have the option to report middle school grades in the academic record, but it is not required.
Please report your GPA as it appears on your transcript and your individual grades as they appear on your transcript. We will make any necessary calculations from there. You have the option to select number grades when reporting your GPA under "High Schools/Colleges Attended."
We should report middle school grades as my DD had some HS level classes there. Do you have to enter all the MS grades or just HS related?
Also we do not have a physical copy of the transcripts but only online grades and the annual GPA is not listed. When we have received them in the past they were weighted GPAs. I can calculate the GPA but does Pitt want weighted or unweighted GPAs?
Please only report the high school level courses taken in middle school.
We ask for the weighted cumulative GPA on the first part of the SRAR (you will see that under the GPA/Class Rank section). On the rest of the “Enter Coursework” section, please read the detailed instructions. We do not want to to apply weight to the grades and we want the grades exactly as they appear on your transcript. For the annual GPA, please enter the GPA for the academic year you are reporting on only and enter it exactly as it is on the transcript. If you did not receive an annual GPA, there is a box you can check right under that section.
When I’m self reporting my grades do I include my physical education classes, health classes, and other minors that are not weighted? Or do I only list my weighted courses?
