self reporting SAT scores

I am applying early to Georgia Tech, and was wondering whether I should self report my SAT scores. I took the SAT a little while ago and got a 1480. I was hoping to take the SAT again in November, which is the last testing date accepted by Georgia Tech early app. So should I self report the 1480, and indicate that I am taking the SAT again in november, or should I just sat I’m taking the SAT in November?

I was also wondering about the teacher and counselor recommendations. On Georgia Tech’s website it states that recommendations are due on December 1 2018. So would it be fine to submit my common app without the recommendations uploaded but with the teachers invited, as long as they upload it by December 1st?

any answers?

You should be fine for both SAT and recommendation. Just submit without it.

Ok thanks, that was what I was thinking. I just wanted to be sure.

Although you are welcome to wait to report your November 3rd scores, there is no reason for you not to self report your current scores. Tech super scores and will consider your highest score from each section. Your current scores are also at or above the average for Tech, so I’m not sure what your concern is.
