I was under the impression via the website that we can self report SAT scores through the common app. Is this correct? I did so, but my application status says “incomplete” because they don’t have my test scores. Then when I click on “view test scores” it shows that someone apparently entered the DATES that I took the test but not the actually scores. I’ve called and called and they just keep saying to wait and maybe they’ll come in. But it has been 14 days and I don’t want to mess this up and miss the Nov 1 deadline. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas? I just need someone to manually put the scores in and I can be done. Ugh. Stress.
So Michigan is still test optional so when the scores come in they can be looked at. Call Michigan admission today to clarify. Good Luck.
The website indicates that there should be a way for you to self-report the scores in the portal. If the portal is not allowing that, I would email admissions to complain that the portal is not working.
Yes, they quite clearly say
***We will allow for self reported test scores for the 2021-22 season; the scores do not need to come from the testing agency.
These scores can be reported on the application or through Enrollment Connect if scores become available after an application has already been submitted.
D22 hasn’t released her application yet - waiting on Common App Essay feedback from her English teacher - but I’ll keep an eye out for this when she does.
Please let us know what you find if you contact Admissions.
As a back up, to make sure they get the test scores, you could pay to send the official scores. If you do that now, they will be there by Nov 1. Good luck.
Yea that’s what I decided to do today, just to be on the safe side. Thanks everyone for your help!
