Self reporting scores I wont send?

I’m not exactly sure how the testing section works on common app. I only plan on officially sending my act score and my subject test scores. Does this mean I shouldn’t also put down the AP tests and SAT scores I got? The scores aren’t bad, in fact I think they’d be a slightly good addition on my application. But if I won’t send those scores, should I self report them at all? If it helps at all I am applying to mostly T-20 schools and the like.

Look at your colleges’ websites. Some will accept self-reported scores and you only send them official reports if you are accepted and decide to enroll. You would need to send official reports for all ACT, SAT, and subject tests that you reported in the app. AP scores are different; typically you don’t send that report until the summer, following senior year APs.

Other colleges will not look at your self-reported scores because they require official score reports at the time of application.

Ok, thank you. It seems that most universities, lets say Stanford as an example, don’t use AP scores for admissions, yes? So in such instance, I wouldn’t report them at all? And just put down my ACT score and subject test scores?
