On my Common App, I self-reported ONLY my highest SAT score. I know some of my colleges will see my other score and my transcript lists my ACT score (which was ridiculously low compared to my sat score). I only reported the one score on my common app because I scored highest on it for EVERY section. I know they suggest sending all scores, so it can be super scored, but I didn't see the point since my one sitting is the highest alone, super scoring would do nothing. Was this okay to do? Some people said I was supposed to report them all, but I found that unnecessary since the entire self reporting section is optional anyway. Also, will that lower ACT on my transcript hurt me? Or will colleges focus on my high SAT score and ignore the ACT? Thanks!

Unless the college requires you to send all scores it is fine to just send the one. Don’t worry. The lower ACT on your transcript won’t matter.

The way that self report SAT scores in CommonApp is a kind of superscoring even if you have all section scores from a single sitting. It does not really matter at all as you still need to submit the official score reports to the school in the way they required. Lower ACT score would not matter and you only need to submit it if it is required.
