I submitted my application to UVA and on the account I was prompted to create, it says that it needs my ACT/SAT scores. However, I self-reported my ACT scores in the Common App. Do I still need to send an official score report through act.org? I'm just really confused on this.

Thanks for any clarification!

Yes, official score reports are required for ACT or SAT. You will find this to be true at every school except the handful that don’t require standardized test scores at all.

Just to follow up, you need to send one or the other from the reporting agencies, SAT or ACT, your choice, not both.

You’ve posted this question in a lot of forums today for different schools and you’ll get the same answer everywhere. Yes, you do need to send official ACT scores. Self reported ACT scores don’t count.
