Self-Study-ability

Any advice from the board on which tests are self-studyable for 5s? I'm talkin' with no classroom experience... is a 5 plausable just by reading the right prep book?

I'm looking specifically for info on AB Compsci and Stat, but any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Computer Science A you can get a 5 w/o classroom, but I doubt that you would get a 5 on AB especially if you are just starting to learn how to program and you plan on really reading books. I know that I only learn when I do the stuff out, so I have to do more than just reading to get it. The opposite might be true for you. There is a lot of stuff on the AB test, and people dont realize that. I find that it is more complex than Calc and it about ties physics. You really need to program and write your own code to really learn the AB stuff.
Stat is very simple, and you can practically just read a manual for your calculator stat package, and be able to get a 3/4. If you read Barrons stats, then you should get a 5. Statistics takes a lot of logic, and it will help you become better at programming. Stat is possible, and a lot of people do it, but programming I think youd get a 3/4. 4's will get you credit at most colleges, why are you so into getting 5's?
