I am self studying Algebra II from the text book Advanced Algebra by Scott Foresman, currently I am on chapter 6 with 30 days to go before school starts again.

I would like to know, whether it would be necessary to learn chapter 13 which is about Series, Combinations and Statistics, and includes topics like Pascals Triangle, The Binomial Theorum, Binomial and Normal Distributions, etc. Is this necessary to pass a normal Algebra 2 final exam? I was told that I wouldn't really need to learn chapter 14 either, which is about Dimensions and Space.

I really dont think you'll need to know the chapter about statistics. My class just covered it the last 2 weeks because we'd covered everything in the curriculum and my teacher said it was fun. It....wasn't. lol.

You should at least look over the stuff on the Binomial theorem and Pascal's triangle, you should probably take a look at the stuff on combinations as well, but the statistics and distribution stuff you should be fine going without for the time being.
