Self study AP and admissions

<p>I am currently a high school junior and currently not enrolled in any AP classes because of my freshman year grades. I was contemplating whether or not I should take Calc AB and economics. Would self study AP tests help in any way on my college application? Would it be in my best interest to just study for the SATS instead?I want to go to Cornell for finance ( by brothers alma mater) but I'm afraid if I do not have a single AP test this would decrease my chances. I will be enrolled in 6 AP classes senior year but the tests will not be used in admissions.</p>

<p>If APs don't help much I would rather focus on my SAT I and remaining SAT IIS</p>

<p>Have started you started studying either AP’s? AP Psych, AP Environmental Chem, and AP Human Geography are generally the easiest to self study for. Of course it will hurt if you have not taken a single AP even though they have been offered at your school. And it would be in your best interest to take the AP’s and SAT’s and do extremely well in both. Focus on the APs from now until May and then focus on the SATs afterwards</p>
