self-study AP euro ?

Is it possible to self-study ap euro and get a 5, and if so how much reviewing/studying would it take?

bump.......

Euro is able to be self studied with little problem because there are not many complex topics like in physics, but if you just decided to start studying today then it is way to late and I do not think that you would be able to study for it now.

I'm studying for it right now. I really did the bulk of my studying over summer, Christmas, and spring break. Now I'm just reviewing Modern European History by Viault.

Which review book(s) would you suggest?

are u allowed to take an AP EXAM without enrolling in a class in high school? would colleges still recognize it?

Yes, although it is especially easy in my case since the class is offered at my school so there are no special arrangements necessary to take the exam.

ap euro is very easy to self study. Just get any review book, i prefer princeton review, and read it. Then take the practice tests. Thats it, if you retain what you read you got a 5.

Thanks! anyone else?

there are many online resources, reviews, and power point presentations you can use from the web
you MUST practice dbqs and essays
i recommend the European history for dummies
but you have to study hard. hopefully you'll get a 5. good luck I'm taking the exam as well in a month

^^^i am self studying but i havent done any practice dbqs. if i was in AP US HIS last year and got a 5, i should be familiar enough with the dbq format right? i just need to know the info?

I have both the CliffsAP Euro and Princeton Review---which one should I use right now? Cliffs seems more detailed, while PR looks suitable for reviewing....??

I would use Cliffs first. Everyone has been calling AP Euro self-study easy; However, there is a massive amount of factual information which you will have to internalize well to get a 5.

ridewitbd24: yes, the dbq format is similar
however, the content and the information will be really different
if you are good at dbqs, don't focus on that ;; then focus on multiple choice
and the good thing is, in ap euro, you don't need any outside info in your dbq whereas in ap us, you do.
but if you got a 5 last year, then i wouldn't focus on it that much now
focus on the two thematic essays and multiple choice

can someone please tell me what parts of the modern european history book you need to know?

theres 40 chapters what is a must study?

I found the reformation parts real hard, but it may be just me.
