Hey, I'm a junior currently enrolled in AP English Language and I was thinking of self studying AP Lit on the side and taking them both in May. Is this doable? I'm doing well in Lang (I see myself getting a 4 or 5), and I wonder how much different the Lit exam is. I haven't looked at test prep books yet, but anyone have any thoughts on this?

er, bump?
...

Have never taken the AP lit exam, but I think if you are good at English, then you can do it. I'm in the AP lit class, but we do NOTHING everyday. We sit around and play "hangman" as a class.

S took the AP Lit exam last year when enrolled in AP Lang. and got a 5 with no prep or review. Hope this helps.

what about the opposite, i am in ap lit as a class right now, would ap lang be doable to self-study?

If you're in lang as a junior, I'm assuming that your school offers Lit for seniors. Why don't you just take the Lit exam your senior year and instead self study for another exam your junior year?
